DMPK Service Coordinator

Job Description

We are currently looking for a self-motivated and collaborative Service Coordinator to assist us in the production and management of DMPK study cost proposals.

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a good knowledge of the CRO industry, with previous experience in costing of scientific studies.   The role is expected to evolve, as the involvement into more complex study evaluations and other responsibilities undertaken by the selected candidate increase.

 


Primary Responsibilities

 

Responsible for defining the pricing structure based on in-house historical quotations and related experience in the field.  In coordinating with the DMPK Director, the business development team and contributing scientists, the person will be actively participating in project cost evaluations by producing timely quotations or proposals for services such as in vivo pre-clinical studies, in vitro ADME studies and bioanalytics.  This may require reaching out to external collaborators and vendors to ensure Paraza Pharma  competitive pricing.  The candidate will be responsible for the tracking and updating of all DMPK quotations, as well as monitoring the completion of milestones, and will assist the Director in the production of accurate invoicing of clients.

Other Responsibilities May Include

 

  • Maintain quotation tracking database
  • Evaluate and implement management tools/software
  • Additional activities to maintain and improve performance of the DMPK business.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in biological sciences, business management or related discipline required
  • 5 years of costing experience in a CRO providing DMPK services, or related experience in project management/evaluation in a research environment
  • Fluent in French and in English
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong organization skills and detail-oriented
  • Collaborative person with excellent communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of project management application/software is an asset.
